Provenance: Northrow Gallery Panton was a highly respected and recognized artist. He was a member of the famed Canadian Group of Painters and was a distinguished member of the OSA, RCA, and CSPWC. Born in Egremont, Cheshire, England, he moved to Canada in 1911. Many of his works are displayed in prominent galleries as well as the National Gallery of Canada.
