Cole Bowman

Cole Bowman (Canadian, 1925-2003) is well-known for his paintings of Canada’s Muskoka region and Algonquin Provincial Park. He was born in the Muskoka area of Ontario Canada, but raised in the mennonite community of Elmira, Ontario. After a career as a high school teacher and teaching art at the University of Waterloo he started painting full time.
